#1 I'm left handed. I like to say that makes me more creative.
#2 In my free time, I love to be outdoors. My fiancé and I went on a two week road trip to the Pacific Northwest where we slept in the back of my small SUV for the majority of our nights and climbed 10 mountains. We also got engaged on that hike pictured above!
#3 I enjoy pretty much every kind of music there is, besides new age country and heavy metal. I'm energized by a good playlist and lots of coffee.
I'm Savana, the heart and soul behind Sav Creative. I'm a lover of houseplants, animals and chocolate ice cream. I've always been the creative type. My dad likes to say I always used non-traditional crayons for my coloring pages because I didn't believe in being stuck in a box with boring colors. I guess he's right. I grew up drawing greeting cards for family, a tradition we still keep today. I was always crafting something, and even though I tried to suppress my creativity for a brief stint (I decided something scientific would be a "cooler career"), I've always drifted back to creating.
I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in graphic design and marketing. I've been doing freelance design since 2019 as well as being employed as a graphic designer for a couple small businesses in my college town. At my core, I want to serve others and I've found that the best way for me to do that is through creating something beautiful.
My fiancé and I currently reside in Rochester, Minnesota with our pitbull, Klaus, and our two cats, Ferguson and Penelope. He's attending medical school here at the Mayo Clinic, so we're chasing our dreams together.
